President coming on December 29

TIRUMALA: President Pratibha Patil will arrive at the temple town of Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala, on December 29.

According to the information reaching here, the President, who is on her maiden visit to the temple town, will land in Tirupati at 12.00 noon on December 29. After a brief halt at Padmavathi guest house, she will offer prayers inside the hill temple. Soon after having darshan of the Lord, she will motor down and reach Tirupati airport at 4.25 p.m., from where she will leave for Hyderabad.

The TTD on its part is making elaborate arrangements for her comfortable stay and darshan of the Lord.
