Commercial tax officers stage demo

PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry State Commercial Tax Officers Association on Wednesday staged a demonstration in front of the Chief Secretariat to highlight their demands, including constitution of an Advanced Ruling Authority for Value Added Tax.

The other demands included finalisation of the seniority list of commercial tax officers, filling of vacancies and publication of new recruitment rules for posts in Commercial Tax Department, the release said.
