Girl drowns

SIRSI: Asha Gopalkrishna Bhat (20) of Kanalli village near here died when she accidentally slipped from a height of 30 feet from the top of Vibhuti waterfalls near Mattighatta on Tuesday. She had gone on a picnic to the waterfalls with her family and relatives. Her uncle tried to save her but in vain. Asha was a commerce student in MES College of Commerce, Sirsi. The Sirsi Rural police have registered a case.
