Khadi exhibition from January 10

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Khadi and Village Industries Board has decided to organise a month-long national khadi exhibition from January 10 at Malleswaram grounds here. Over 400 dealers from across the country will set up stalls and offer price discount up to 35 per cent to various khadi products. Governor Rameshwar Thakur will be invited to inaugurate the exhibition, the Board officials said. — Special Correspondent

Seminar on beekeeping

BANGALORE: The Khadi and Village Industries Board will organise a two-day national-level seminar on beekeeping at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, from January 18. The officials of the Union Agricultural Ministry, leading honey manufacturers and beekeepers will participate in the event. The National Bee Board has decided to provide financial aid to the seminar, according to officials. — Special Correspondent
