UAE chain opens more outlets

DUBAI: The UAE-based restaurant chain, Hotbrands International (HBI), has opened three more outlets at Gurgaon in India under a strategic alliance that it has forged with Darbur Foods’ Amit Burman.

Three of the concepts that have been opened in the Omaxe mall of Gurgaon represent HBI’s flagship brand Shamiana (a quick service Indian restaurant chain), Magic Wok (serving modern Chinese cuisine) and Santino, which serves Italian pizzas and pastas.

The new stores have increased the number of HBI outlets that operate in the booming fast food restaurant sector in India to 12, a company statement said. — PTI
