THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swetha Sreehari (Tamil Nadu) scored an easy 6-1, 6-1 win over Statemate Aswini Suresh to move into the girls’ under-16 singles final of the Josco-AITA National junior tennis talent series at the TTC courts here on Wednesday. In the final, Swetha will taken on Shree Sanjana who overcame a late challenge from Akshya Chandran 6-3, 7-6(5) in another all-Tamil Nadu semifinal. Sanjana also entered the final of the under-14 section by defeating Aswini Suresh 7-6(7), 6-3. The results: Boys (quarterfinals): Under-16: Sai Avinash (TN) bt Mohammed Hamraz (Ker) 6-0, 6-0; Pritish Kishorekumar (Ker) bt Jayanth Jayaraman (TN) 6-4, 6-2; Rithvik Anand (TN) bt Aditya Bhat (Ker) 7-5, 1-6, 6-2; Sibi Mon (TN) bt J.S. Arun Raj (Ker) 6-3, 6-2. Under-14: Sai Avinash (TN) bt Mohammed Hamraz (Ker) 6-0, 6-0; Aditya Bhat (Ker) bt Jayanth Jayaraman (TN) 6-2, 6-4.
