Students’ convention

Kochi: A national chartered accountancy students’ convention will be held here on December 28 and 29. The convention is being organised by the board of studies of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Ernakulam Branch of the Southern India Chartered Accountants Students’ Association (SICASA), said Vivek Krishna Govind, SICASA chairman. Former Tamil Nadu Governor and Supreme Court Judge M. Fathima Beevi will inaugurate the convention. ICAI board of studies chairman Jayadeep N. Shah will deliver the keynote address. Over 1000 delegates are expected to participate in the convention, he said.
