Situation improves at Delhi airport

NEW DELHI: Unlike on Tuesday when several flights were delayed due to fog, the situation at Delhi airport was considerably better on Wednesday.

Though runway visibility was not so poor as to warrant low visibility procedures, safeguard procedures were implemented between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m., said Delhi International Airport (Private) Limited. Till 8 p.m. there were about 20 delays, both international and domestic arrivals and departures, ranging from 20 minutes to over two hours.
