New schemes for tourism sector
Thiruvananthapuram: The government proposes to implement new schemes costing Rs.15.24 crore in the tourism sector. Tourism Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said here today that they consisted of the development of the Kodungalloor Heritage Circuit at a cost of Rs.3.67 crore, setting up of a Biopark at Pathiramanal at Rs.4.99 crore, Wayanad Destination Development spending Rs.2.91 crore and the development of the Mangalam Dam as a tourism centre at a cost of Rs.4.61 crore. — Staff Reporter
