Lucknow: Ajayab Singh Barar was on Wednesday appointed the new Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University for a period of three years. Prof.Barar, from Chemistry department of IIT, New Delhi, was appointed V-C by Uttar Pradesh Governor T. V. Rajeswar who is also Chancellor of the University. He will take over charge from Ram Prakash Singh in the first week of January. PTI
