Tardy progress raises concern

ADILABAD: Collector Ahmad Nadeem on Wednesday expressed concern over the tardy progress of ‘pashu kranti’ scheme. For the 5,000 animals to be grounded by February 2008, only 3,696 applications were received of which banks had given consent for loans to only 1,496 applicants.
