Elephants damage crops, houses

Rourkela: A herd of elephants damaged crops and 13 mud houses in Ajeikela village after coming from jungles near Nuagaon in Sundergarh district, the police said.

Twelve elephants entered the village on Tuesday night and caused the damage. People in the village ran from their houses in fear. Forest officials were informed and nobody was injured. – PTI
