Two killed in accident

RAMANATHAPURAM: Two persons died and nine were injured when a bus hit a tree at Nadumunaikadu on the Rameswaram-Madurai national highway near here on Tuesday. The victims were identified as Anil Kumar (23) from Uttar Pradesh and N. Arumugam (60) of Omachikulam in Madurai. Sources said the driver lost control while trying to avoid a lorry. — Staff Reporter
