Mumbai in sight of victory

HYDERABAD: Mumbai is in sight of victory as it finished the third day at six for one needing another 71 runs for a win over Karnataka in the quarterfinals of the all-India Cooch Behar Trophy cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores: At Gymkhana: Karnataka 154 & 165 in 66.5 overs (Sunil Raju 58 not out, Suraj Sampath 49, Dhaval Kulkarni four for 30) vs Mumbai 243 in 101.2 overs (Dhaval 45, Mithun three for 70, Sunil Raju three for 37) & six for one.

At ECIL: Bengal 287 & 175 for eight in 64 overs (Sufin Khan 55, K. Gandhi three for 27) vs Tamil Nadu 316 in 117.3 overs (Sushil 72, Kaushik Gandhi 55, Ranjith K.R. Prasad five for 101).
