Double for Nivedita

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Hindu’s Nivedita Ganguly and Anupama Chakraborty won two titles each while K.R. Deepak and D. Ravi Kumar picked up one each in the athletics competitions of the third CMR-VJF inter-media sports meet at the Port stadium here on Wednesday.

The general body meeting of the District Handball Association at its meeting held here a few days ago has resolved to dissolve the existing executive committee and decided to conduct elections on January 20, 2008 to elect a new set of office-bearers. The outgoing president K.V. Ramana Rao will act as acting president till then.
