Double for Chennai

Chennai: Chennai won both the men and women’s titles in the Tamil Nadu State Volleyball Association inter-district tournament which concluded at Kalpakkam on Wednesday.

In the men’s final, Chennai beat Kanchipuram 25-16, 17-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-13. Meanwhile, the Chennai women beat Madurai 25-13, 25-29, 25-14.

Peramabalur finished third among men, beating Coimbatore 25-23, 23-25, 25-20. Perambalur beat Coimbatore in the women’s section also 25-18, 19-25, 25-12.
