Fog causes accidents, 7 dead

PATNA: Dense fog on Wednesday caused road and rail accidents and claimed the lives of seven persons in Bihar. Around 65 people, including schoolchildren, were injured in the accidents.
The Raxaul-Sugauli train rammed a tractor in East Champaran district, killing two persons and injuring five others.
One person was killed and six schoolchildren were injured in Siwan district in a jeep- van collision.
A truck ran over a rickshaw, killing both the puller and the passenger in Begusarai, while a jeep shot off the road in Darbhanga, killing two persons and injuring 10, five of them seriously.
A Gopalganj-bound bus from Motihari in East Champaran capsized, injuring 25. In Madhubani, 18 suffered injuries in an accident.
