VIZIANAGARAM: Thieves broke into Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank branch at Govindapuram village in Poosapatirega mandal in the wee hours of Thursday.

However, they left the premises without making an attempt to enter the strong room, said SI S. Govinda Rao. Later, they barged into Sri Ram Temple nearby and took away three silver crowns of the deities. Police registered a case.
