NIZAMABAD: Minister for Higher Education D. Srinivas opined that students need not be away from politics.They should thoroughly understand politics and problems, he said. Attending as the chief guest at the National Students Union of India district conference here on Thursday, he said the NSUI workers should not remain silent if there were omissions and commissions in the administration. That mere joining NSUI was not enough for the students, he said they should first know the aims and objects of the union. Ms. Ramju Ramavath, the NSUI national secretary, union State president Ch. Vamsichand Reddy, MLA Bajireddy Govardhan, MLC D. Rajeswar, DCC president G. Gangadhar, Mayor D. Sanjay, ZP vice-chairperson Taher Bin and others attended. The union district president K. Gunraj presided. Mr. Rajeswar asked the students to improve nationality concept and nationality spirit among them.
