PUDUCHERRY: Director General of Police A.S. Khan on Thursday said the government plans to create a separate crime wing of the Police Department. He told reporters that the government has sent a proposal to the Ministry of Home Affairs for its approval to establish the crime wing as new posts have been created. The department also proposed to create a full-fledged Forensic Laboratory in the Union Territory.
