Conference on nano, microelectronics at PEC

PUDUCHERRY: An international conference on nano and microelectronics (ICONAME 2008) will be organised by the Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC) from January 3 to 5, 2008, said a press release.

Around 150 experts and researchers from all over the country and various countries such as the U.S., the U.K., Japan, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, China and Thailand would participate.

M. Chidambaram, Director of National Institute of technology, Tiruchi, would inaugurate the conference at 9.30 a.m. Werner Weppner of the Christian Albrechts - University (CAU Kiel, Germany), would deliver the keynote address.

The release added that during the first two days of the conference, select research papers would be presented.
