Polio immunisation programme

PERAMBALUR: About 1.25 lakh children in the age-group 0-5 years in Perambalur and Ariyalur districts will be covered under the pulse polio immunisation programme on January 6 and February 10. An official release said that special booths would be set up at 849 places to administer polio drops to the eligible children. About 3,400 volunteers would administer the drops, the release added.
