AKKA conference in August

Bangalore: The U.S.-based Association of Kannada Kootas of America (AKKA) will hold its three- day 5th world Kannada conference from August 29 at the Rosemont Convention Centre in Chicago.

AKKA directors Prabhudev and M. Krishnamurthy told presspersons here on Thursday that the conference would be hosted by the Vidyaranya Kannada Kuta of Illinois.
