Chandy’s plea to Naveen Patnaik

Thiruvananthapuram: Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy has urged Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to take strong measures to put down the attacks against minorities in his State. In a statement here, Mr. Chandy said minorities in Orissa were being subjected to organised attacks. The government should ensure their security, he said. — Special Correspondent
