Aid for cultivating medicinal plants

CHENNAI: The Union Health and Family Welfare Department is offering financial assistance for cultivating medicinal plants. According to an official release, there is great demand for such plants. Non-governmental organisations, farmers, cooperative societies and self-help groups, having a minimum of five acres, can seek the assistance.
