Girl found murdered in hostel

VIJAYAWADA: In what is believed to be a crime committed by a psychopathic killer, a 19-year-old pharmacy student was found brutally murdered in a private ladies hostel at Ibrahimpatnam near here on Thursday.

Ayesha Meera, a first year B. Pharmacy student of Nimra Institute of Science & Technology at Ibrahimpatnam and a native of Tenali in Guntur district, was found dead in the bathroom of Durga Ladies Hostel. The crime was suspected to have been committed between 2 a.m. and 5.30 a.m.

The killer left a note stating that he killed the girl as she spurned his overtures.
