Presiding over the 34th All-India Medical Conference in Bangalore on December 26, Dr. D.V. Venkappa, President of the All-India Medical Association, urged all State Governments to declare their medical policy in no ambiguous terms and give the right lead in the matter of medical relief to the people.

The three-day conference was inaugurated by His Highness Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar, Governor of Mysore.
