Muthoot CC in semifinals

HARIPAD: Muthoot ECC (Ernakulam) and Skylark CC (Alappuzha) entered the semifinals of the K.K. Sreenivasan Memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the GBHS ground here on Thursday.

In the quarterfinals, Muthot ECC thrashed Yorkshire (Kayamkulam) by 155 runs, while Skylark defeated Concord (Ambalapuzha) by 46 runs.

The scores: Muthoot ECC 288 for six in 28 overs (Pradeep 69, Manikandan 62, Sanaf 60) bt Yorkshire (Ambalapuzha) 133 in 18 overs; Skylark (Alappuzha) 178 for eight in 20 (Arun Parameshwar 61, Harish 53) bt Concord (Ambalapuzha) 132 in 20 overs (Mubarak 54).
