Kingpins CC keeps its nerve

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kingpins CC defeated Masters CC by 11 runs in the Thiruvananthapuram district ‘C’ division cricket league at the Medical College ground on Thursday.

In a low-scoring match, Kingpins bowlers Nithin (four for 25) and Achu (four for 26) fashioned the win as Masters, chasing a target of 155, was dismissed for 143.

The scores: Kingpins CC 154 in 39 overs (Vishnu 65, Saju four for 24, Deepak three for 28) lost to Masters CC 143 in 30.4 overs (Nithin four for 25, Achu four for 26). — Principal Correspondent
