A. Saye Sekhar

Partners Gemini Communications

Ties up with Gradient Technologies

To forge alliance with Saudi Arabian firm

HYDERABAD: Cybermate Infotek, which raised $12 million through the issue of global depository receipts (GDRs) by listing on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange in September, has drawn up plans for expansion.

The Hyderabad-based software company decided to partner Chennai-based Gemini Communications for networking, Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID), enterprise application integration (EAI), and storage area implementation.

Director (Finance), Cybermate, P. Chandrasekhar, said here on Thursday that the company entered into a strategic alliance with Gemini Communications, considering the latter’s business opportunities and size of operations, which were suitable for his company to partner and enhance the mutual business prospects.

Gemini Communications was in the process of executing a contract for BSNL for the installation and commissioning of CDMA cell site towers across 11 States in India.

Mr. Chandrasekhar said the company entered into a tie-up with the Hyderabad-based Gradient Technologies, which was a channel partner with SAP, for implementing the ERP (enterprise resource planning) solutions globally. It would have an alliance with Tali Infotech of Saudi Arabia for software development, implementation and maintenance support in India and West Asia. The two companies were looking at hospital management software and specialised healthcare applications. Cybermate would also take up bulk mail and bulk SMS service in association with a mobile phone company in the West Asia, he said.
