MYSORE: A stroke-filled knock of 72 (76b, 7x4, 1x6) by Jasmine helped SBRR Mahajana PU College ‘B’ team register an eight-wicket win over Christ PU College in the first round of the D.H. Praveen Memorial PU inter-collegiate cricket tournament at the Gangothri grounds here on Thursday.

The scores: Christ PU College 157 in 30 overs (Nirmith Nithyanand 36) lost to SBRR Mahajana PU College ‘B’ 158 for two in 26 overs (Jasmine 72, Yashwanth 45); Vijaya Vittala PU College 154 in 28 overs (Karthik 33) lost to Hardwicke PU College 158 for nine in 29.5 overs (Charan 37).
