Primary teachers launch fast

KORAPUT: Members of Koraput District Primary Teachers’ Union launched indefinite hunger strike in front of the district Collector’s office on Thursday demanding action against some officials for allegedly harassing the teaching community in the district. In a statement to Collector Sarat Kumar Turuk, president of the union alleged that members of the union resorted to the strike as the district administration failed to take any action.
