One more metro feeder bus service from today

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will start one more feeder bus service at Pitampura here from Friday.
The service will cover Pushpanjali/West Enclave, Bal Bharati Public School, Parwana Road, Sharda Niketan, Railway Society, Saraswati Vihar Road, Anand Vihar, Shakti Vihar, Shiva Enclave, Shyamji Krishnan Varma Marg, Kapil Vihar and Pitampura metro station.
A DMRC official said four buses would run on this route with a 10-minute frequency.
“At present, 35 feeder buses are plying on four different routes. The buses run with an average rider-ship of 30 passengers per trip. The Delhi Metro has already short-listed 36 feeder bus routes for which 419 buses are required,” the DMRC official said.
Feeder buses at present run from the metro stations at Shastri Park, Pitampura, Janakpuri and Rohini (West).
