JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje administered the oath of office and secrecy to four newly appointed Parliamentary Secretaries and handed over the appointment letter to the new Chairperson of the State Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission, Sundar Lal, here on Thursday. The swearing-in ceremony was organised at the Chief Minister’s official residence. Phagi MLA Laxmainarain Bairwa, Mundawar MLA Dharampal Chaudhary, Luni MLA Jogaram Patel and Nokha MLA Govindram Meghwal took the oath as Parliamentary Secretaries. With the new appointments, the number of Parliamentary Secretaries has gone up to six. Mr. Sundar Lal, BJP MLA from Surajgarh – who took over as the new Chairperson of the SC/ST Commission – has been given the rank of a Cabinet Minister. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the Government would work for speeding up the development process and redress people’s grievances.
