“I will fight your war”

RAWALPINDI: “I assure you that I will fight your war from now on,” Nawaz Sharif told grieving Benazir supporters outside the hospital. “I share your sorrow and grief along with the entire nation.”

Mr. Sharif said he himself felt insecure and accused President Pervez Musharraf of not providing adequate security to Ms. Bhutto. “We both were struggling for the same cause,” Mr. Sharif said. — Agencies
