Symposium held on small states

The Dalit Bahujan Front on Thursday organised a symposium on ‘The necessity of small States in the perspective of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’.

Senior IAS official V. Rajasekhar (Haryana cadre) opined that depressed classes would get their share of power if smaller States were formed.

This has been proved in States like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Uttaranchal.
