Traffic diversion in Tirupur

TIRUPUR: In view of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi’s visit to Tirupur on Saturday for the inauguration of Tirupur Municipal Corporation, the police have announced that traffic would be diverted in some routes in city on that day.

Mofussil buses come from Perumanallur road would be diverted from Pooluvapatty ring road to reach Avanashi Road at Thirumuruganpoondi. The buses will be allowed to go up to the Pushpa Theatre Junction.

Town buses from Peruamanallur road would be diverted from Pooluvapatty ring road to reach Avanashi Road at Thirumuruganpoondi. These buses could go up to Park Road.

Buses from Avanashi Road would not be allowed to go to the new bus stand. Instead they should go directly to the Pushpa Theatre Junction.

There will be no diversions for the buses from Uthukuli and Palladam roads.

The buses from Mangalam Road would be terminated at municipal office. The buses coming from Kangeyam Road would be diverted at Nallur Ring Road to Dharapuram Road to reach old bus stand.

The vehicles of party cadres coming to the function venue at new bus stand should be parked at 60 ft Road at M.S. Nagar.
