Youth dies after consuming liquor

CHENNAI: A 23-year-old youth died after he allegedly consumed excessive liquor at a party.
Police said on Thursday that Antony Raj Christie, working in Dubai, had come to the city to spend his holiday with a friend living at Sembium.
Police said that Christie stayed in his friend’s house where, it is suspected, the two had consumed liquor excessively.
As they were not seen till the noon of December 25, the inmates began a search and found Antony Raj Christie dead, while his friend was admitted to a hospital.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Sembium) Rajaram said that a case of unnatural death had been registered.
