Bail for AIADMK, DMDK activists

MADURAI: The Madras High Court Bench here granted anticipatory bail to 10 All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam activists on Wednesday, in the case relating to the clash between AIADMK and Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam workers on December 24 while garlanding the statue of former Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran on his death anniversary. Justice V. Periakaruppiah granted bail to the AIADMK members, including the son of former Speaker K. Kalimuthu. He granted bail to 10 DMDK cadres and four other AIADMK workers. — Staff Reporter
