Civil Services-2008 exam notified

HYDERABAD: The Civil Services-2008 examination has been notified with 671 vacancies and half of these vacancies are expected to fall in the IAS, IPS and IRS categories. There have been no changes in the scheme of examination and it continues to be a two-tier examination comprising the Preliminary and the Main examination with the compulsory General Studies paper and the optionals.

The syllabus for the most of the subjects for the Main examination has been revised.
