150 days of struggle celebrated

NEW DELHI: Yamuna Satyagraha on Thursday celebrated 150 days of its struggle at the Commonwealth Games Village site here to save the river.

It was celebrated as “Yamuna Sangrakshak Samman Diwas”. Farmers of the Yamuna riverbed, members of residents’ welfare associations and all those who have made significant contributions to the struggle in the past one year were honoured. A “havan” was also performed in the morning.
