Ludhiana: Police on Friday arrested an activist of the banned Babbar Khalsa International in connection with the recovery of 3 kg RDX from the outskirts of the city on September 2. BKI activist Bhavanjit Singh was arrested from Sudhar, near here in connection with the recovery of the RDX from a car in Mullanpur on the Ludhiana-Ferozepur road. He is the seventh person arrested in the case, Ludhiana Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural) Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said. Bhavanjit Singh belongs to Kamalpur village of the district. EscapedFollowing the recovery of the RDX, the owner of the car, who has been identified as Gurprit Singh, managed to escape leaving the car behind. Police said he has links with terrorists. PTI
