PUDUCHERRY: The Revenue Department has recommended to the Department of Agriculture Department not to insist on revenue certificate to issue ID cards to farmers. Collector G. Theva Needhi Dhas said that the field assistants, who were working alongside the farmers, could be authorised to verify and issue certificates.
