Complaint against Jalappa

BANGALORE: The 8th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate K. Palakshappa has ordered registering of a complaint by Doordarshan Senior Director Mahesh Joshi against the former Minister R.L. Jalappa. In the complaint, Mr. Joshi said Mr. Jalappa had written a letter to Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Priyaranjan Dasmunshi making baseless and reckless allegations against him. Based on this letter, the Union Minister had ordered for his transferred to Chennai, which was set aside by the Central Administrative Tribunal.
