Dehra Dun: Lakshmi Rana, a Congress leader, who was at the centre of a storm in Uttarakhand since her appointment as the member of state Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission early this month, has been removed from the post, official sources said. Ms. Rana has been dismissed from Uttarakhand Consumer Commission on the ground that she is in a kerosene oil business and member of a state Consumer Commission can not run a business, said Food and Civil Supplies Minister Diwakar Bhatt.--PTI
