ULFA will be wiped out in next 10 years: Barbora
Guwahati: The United Liberation Front of Asom will be wiped out in the next 10 years, Air Marshal P.K. Barbora, AOC-in-C, Western Air Command-designate, told reporters here on Friday.
Air Marshal Barbora, who recently relinquished the office of AOC-in-C, Eastern Air Command, said: “The ULFA has turned out to be the worst enemy of the people. It is a divided lot and of late its ideology has been to extort money for its leaders to lead a luxurious lifestyle in foreign countries.”
Commenting on the derailed peace process with the ULFA, he said that the organisation’s demand was ridiculous and hence there was no headway. — PTI
