Man falls from running bus, dies

TAMBARAM: A 30-year-old man succumbed to the injuries he suffered after falling from a Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus at Medavakkam.

A resident of Pallikaranai, M. Nagarajan was on his way to the Medavakkam Primary Health Centre on Wednesday.

As the bus he was travelling by approached the PHC, he got down from it even before it halted.

Nagarajan fell on the road and was seriously injured.

He was taken in the same bus to a private hospital in Perumbakkam, where he died on Friday morning, police said.
