Three injured in accident
NEW DELHI: Three men, including two Central Reserve Police Force personnel, were injured when a Maruti Alto car hit them in Lodhi Colony here on Friday. The erring driver has been arrested.
According to the police, the accident took place in Lodhi Colony market around 11 in the morning when the car driven by Subroto Sutradhar hit a motorcycle on which Constable Vijay Kumar and Assistant Sub-Inspector Gopal Sharan were going to R.K. Puram on some official work. The CRPF personnel, who are posted at CGO Complex, fell on the road and sustained injuries. The car then hit a stationary auto-rickshaw injuring its driver, Desh Raj.
The injured were admitted to the trauma centre of the AIIMS and Subroto was arrested on charges of causing injury due to rash and negligent driving.
