Sahitya Academy decision hailed

HYDERABAD: Rural Development Minister G. Chinna Reddy on Friday expressed happiness over this year’s Sahitya Academy award to Satapatram, written by the late Gadiyaram Ramakrishna Sarma, who had settled down in Alampur in Mahabubnagar district.

In a press release, the Minister who also hails from Mahabubnagar district, said the award is a matter of pride for the district and should inspire its people. He wished that the honour should have come when the writer was alive.
