College conducts two-day programme

PUDUCHERRY: The Achariya Arts and Science College here conducted a two-day programme titled Bio-Trend, covering topics such as DNA sequencing, HIV, Gene Therapy, Industrial bioinformatics, molecular docking starch production and wine production.

Students were involved in preparing research papers on ailments such as anaemia, diabetes, cancer, liver cirrhosis and leprosy. As part of the event, the students conducted field trips, surveys, prepared charts and banners related to the subjects and made presentations before faculty members.

The programme was conducted jointly by various departments of the college.
